I have had four back surgergies over the course of five years; but it all started because of pain in my left calf. Medication treatments did not work and then I started having pain and numbness in left arm; MRIs were done and found to have bulging disks. The most recent surgery was in May of this year and the surgeon is optomistic about it helping with the back, but has suggested and I have pursued getting a Spinal Cord Stimulator placed. I had to do some research, since I was unfamiliar with it, but for any of you who suffuer from unsuccessful back surgery(s) or peripheral neuropathy of legs not aided by meds, you, too, should look into it to see if right for you.
